Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Velnix Inc. (“Velnix”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use Dayvio (the “Service”).
1. Information We Collect
Account information. Your name, email address, and password, handled through our authentication provider, Supabase.
Profile and preferences. Onboarding answers, working hours, goals, and other preferences you provide to personalize your plan.
Task and plan data. The tasks and daily plans you create or that the Service generates for you.
Coach conversations. Messages you send to the AI coach and the responses it generates.
Uploaded content. Any photos or files you choose to upload, such as a profile picture.
Purchase information. Your subscription status and history, processed through RevenueCat and the Apple App Store or Google Play. We do not receive or store your full payment card details.
Notification data. If you allow notifications, a push token that identifies your device to Apple’s or Google’s push service, along with your notification settings and time zone so reminders arrive at the right local time.
Crash reports and diagnostics. When the app or our servers hit an error, we collect a report through Sentry: the error and where in the code it happened, your device model, operating system and app version, and the screens and actions leading up to it. Reports are linked to your account ID so we can investigate a problem you report. They do not include your email address, task titles, or coach messages.
App usage analytics. We use Google Firebase Analytics to understand how Dayvio is used and what to improve. It records which screens you open, key actions (such as completing onboarding, adding a task, or starting a purchase), and basic device information (model, operating system, app version, language, and approximate location). It records that something happened, not what you wrote. We don’t use advertising identifiers or track you across other companies’ apps or websites. See how Google uses information from apps that use its services.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide the Service, including your daily plan and AI coaching;
- To personalize Dayvio to your preferences;
- To manage your subscription;
- To send task reminders, an evening reminder about open tasks, the weekly summary email, and service messages — you can turn these off under Settings → Notifications in the app;
- To fix errors, keep the Service running, and improve it;
- To meet our legal obligations.
3. AI Processing
Dayvio’s AI features — your first plan, task drafting, “Suggest my day,” and the coach — send the information needed for each request to third-party AI providers through OpenRouter (currently Google Gemini models). This can include your onboarding answers, the text you enter, and relevant details of your day, such as task titles and times. We never send your password, payment details, email address, or profile photo, but anything you type yourself is sent as written, so please don’t include sensitive information.
We don’t train AI models on your content. OpenRouter and the model providers handle data under their own policies — see the OpenRouter Privacy Policy. Adding or editing tasks by hand does not use AI.
4. How We Share Information
We don’t sell your personal information or use it for advertising. We share it only with:
- Providers that run the Service for us: Supabase (accounts and data), OpenRouter and its AI providers (AI features), RevenueCat, Apple, and Google (subscriptions), Sentry (error reports), Google Firebase (analytics), Resend (email), and Expo, Apple, and Google (notifications);
- Authorities, where the law requires it or to protect the rights and safety of Velnix, our users, or others;
- A successor in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with this Policy continuing to apply.
5. Data Retention
We keep your data while your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your data within a reasonable period, except what we must keep by law. Accounts started with “Get Started” and never registered are deleted after 30 days without use.
Error reports and analytics are kept for a limited time (analytics for at most 14 months). Data already sent to an AI provider is subject to that provider’s retention.
6. Your Rights and Choices
You can view, edit, and delete most of your data in the app, and delete your account at any time. You can manage notifications under Settings → Notifications or in your device settings. Depending on where you live (for example, under the GDPR or CCPA), you may also have the right to request a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to certain processing. To do so, contact us at the address below.
7. Data Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures, including encryption in transit and access controls, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children’s Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. International Data Transfers
Your information may be processed in countries other than the one where you live. Where this happens, we rely on our service providers’ own safeguards for cross-border data transfers.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
